Development of real time forecasting system of gun/cannon sound source location (Patent under application)
We suggest 4 models in consideration of the military's particularity.
Models 1 and 4 are the system to forecast the location of sound source for the long distance using 4 microphones.
Models 2 and 3 are the system for vigilance/surveillance suing 2-3 microphones and surveillance cameras.
Model 4 is the system to forecast direction angle of sound source using 2 microphones.
Programming has been made based on LabVIEW and this has been applied to individual weapons and combat helmets.
Verification has been made in a football stadium (photo on the right) and the system is being filed for patent application. Relevant paper is planned to be published in December.
