Electro Deposition Equipment
Electro deposition is a method to educe coating film through coating particles with electric charge into a coated material with opposite electric charge, after electrolysis of the solution is conducted by potential difference, when DC is provided in opposite electrodes between coated material and paint tank in the water-soluble paints solution.The loss of paints is small and effective coating can be conducted on the welded joints, corner parts, inside of the coated material and sharp edge/line. Hight quality coating is possible.Depending on coated material's electrode attributes, electro deposition is classified into an anion type and cation type and the cation type is generally used for under coating.
The electro deposition process consists of an electro deposition main tank, UF1 washing, UF2 washing, UF3 washing and pure washing.
Main Devices- Electro deposition tank : A tank in which electro deposition coating can be conducted with coated material being submerged by insulating steel plate via FRP coating.
- Paint filtering device : A device removing impurities by installing a fiter with 5--100μ
- Thermostat : As a device maintaining temperature of paint at 23-28 with 1.0, it consists of cold and a hot device and a plate type heat exchanger.
- DC supplying device : This device consists of a rectifier, which is 0-400V DC generating device, and a positive plate and a collector.
- UF device : A device for ultra filtration. This is a device to collect paints that have smeared along with coated material in the electro deposition tank.
- Membrane device : As a casing produced with non-conduction material, there is a plate shape or circle shape electrode plate. Between the electrode plate and electro deposition paint, ion selective membrane is installed.
- Others : Electrode liquid circulation device, pure regeneration device, paint supply device and paint replacement device, etc.
